Christmas has come early for Run Forrest and their client La Madre Bakery this year!
The stunning gingerbread house we flew up to Sydney for the Country Style magazine Christmas shoot in September (read post: "The Things We Do...!" Sept 21) has, with its dear creators, made its debut in the December issue.
The La Madre family and their delicious Christmas creations feature on over ten pages...so you can only imagine the squeals of joy I made when I flipped open the magazine in the newsagency to find a wonderfully written (thank you Barbara Sweeney!) article on the bakery and its owners Anna and Tez; four beautiful interior styling pages for a white Christmas featuring La Madre's gingerbread house and recipe center-stage AND a lovely mention of La Madre's Christmas ginger angels on the 'Flavours' page.
So Santa hold the presents this year, coz I'm pretty happy with this copy of Country Style's December issue!
